China Reaffirms Commitment to Myanmar’s Development and Revitalization

China has reiterated its position as a reliable friend and partner of Myanmar, pledging continued support for the country’s development and national revitalization. The assurance came during a high-level meeting between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Myanmar’s Foreign Minister Tin Maung Swe.

During the discussions, Wang Yi stated that China is ready to maintain frequent high-level exchanges and deepen practical cooperation across various sectors. He emphasized China’s willingness to assist Myanmar in accelerating its economic recovery and progress. The Chinese Foreign Minister also highlighted the importance of advancing the “China-Myanmar Community with a Shared Future,” aiming to bring tangible benefits to the people of both nations through mutual cooperation.

Wang Yi further noted that China stands by Myanmar in its efforts to achieve stability and growth. The talk centered on strengthening strategic ties and enhancing partnership in key areas such as trade, infrastructure, and regional security. By fostering a closer bond, China aims to play a constructive role in Myanmar’s journey toward long-term prosperity and sustainable development.
